Drawing from the Latin tonare, meaning “to thunder,”
this track focusses on emotional anguish.

Structurally I wrote this piece to imitate a hurricane.
The outer two sections are the tempestuous winds
and rain while the middle section is the calm and
reflective eye of the storm.

Fun fact: The title of this track has two meanings. The
first one is the “just pretentious enough” Latin
inspired name that appears above. The second pulls
from a specific make of guitar: the PRS Tonare 250E.
This is my way of highlighting that this track
consists entirely of guitar and nothing else.
